Taxpayers Against Fraud Conference for Relators’ Counsel

David Haron was on the Program Committee for the Second Annual Taxpayers Against Fraud Conference for Relators' Counsel at the Washington Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Conference for Relators' Counsel features Relators'counsel and government attorneys from around the country and addressed a variety of topical information concerning the Federal False Claims Act, including a discussion of recent case law, emerging and non-traditional FCA cases, hot issues in health care fraud enforcement and special qui tam practice issues.

Thomas Grande was a featured speaker on a panel which discussed Ethical Issues in Qui Tam Practice, including issues relating to when an employee may take documents from an employer who is committing Medicare fraud; when and under what circumstances counsel may represent multiple relators and contacting current and former employees of a business which is defrauding the government.
